Is Minuteful UTI for me?

Minuteful UTI is intended for generally healthy, non pregnant females aged 16-64.

The service is meant to treat simple UTI and therefore, Minuteful UTI is NOT suitable for you if any of the below statements apply to you:

• Experiencing UTI symptoms for more than 7 days
• Had two or more UTIs in the past year (excluding this suspected UTI)
• Have been taking antibiotics in the past 4 weeks (including any you are currently taking)
• Have a weakened immune system
• Have kidney issues
• Have been experiencing vaginal discharge
• Use a urinary catheter

UTI symptoms

UTI symptoms may include passing urine more often than usual, burning pain when passing urine, feeling the need to pass urine immediately, needing to pass urine at night, pain in your lower tummy or blood in your urine*.

*Please note if you can see blood in your urine but don’t have any other symptoms of a UTI this test kit and service is not suitable for you and you should see your doctor

Minuteful UTI is NOT suitable for women who are experiencing the following symptoms:

• Have any visible blood in your urine
• Experiencing a fever, chills or raised temperature
• Feel generally unwell, confused or disoriented
• Experiencing nausea, vomiting or pain in your muscles
• Have pain in your back, sides or front under your ribs

Important note: See your doctor straight away if you have flu-like symptoms or are vomiting, have a raised temperature, are confused or very drowsy, have kidney pain in your back just under the ribs or have any other unusual symptoms as these could be signs of a more serious infection.

In case you have UTI, Minuteful UTI will instruct you to go to the pharmacy to get diagnosed and most likely you’ll receive common antibiotics. Therefore, Minuteful UTI is also not suitable for women allergic to both Nitrofurantoin and Trimethoprim.

Smartphone enabled

Conducting the Minuteful UTI test requires the use of a smartphone. Therefore, Minuteful UTI is supported on any Android or iOS smartphone device running one of the last three operating system versions. Check if your smartphone is compatible here.
